The coding industry is one of the fastest growing industries out there, and it has a lot to offer. According to TechCrunch, there are more than 50% of jobs that “require some coding skills.” There are many skills that you can learn to make yourself more employable in the programmer world. However, it is very easy for people to get confused and discouraged because of the complexity of programming languages and lack of knowledge of what programming is all about.

The Good:

The best part about coding is that there are a lot of different jobs that you could potentially do with this skill. You can be a software engineer, an app developer, or even work for Google or Microsoft.

The digital revolution has upended many industries and careers, but software engineering is an in-demand and well-paying profession. Software engineers create the code that makes websites, applications, and smartphones work. These engineers can specialize in areas such as data analytics or computer programming. They can be employed one of the big techs (or start their own companies) to design new technology for the future.

You can also work on the backend of websites and apps. It’s an exciting profession because it provides you with the chance to learn about new things, solve challenging problems and work on many different projects at once. It also pays well which is always a good thing.

The Bad:

Although coding can be enjoyable and rewarding, it can also be frustrating and time-consuming. It needs unending learning, debugging, and changes on the project which we sometimes do not have enough time for. It takes a lot of time to learn all the nuances and potential errors. The work with coding is not only hard, but also has an endless learning curve.

Coding is a never ending learning skill. It is very time-consuming to learn the code and even after you do learn the code, you can’t stop learning because there are always new updates to coding that come out, especially if you don’t have any programming experience or knowledge. If you don’t cope with this learning, your skill can become obsolete.

The Ugly

The ugly part of coding is that, with you don’t get a job in an exciting project, it’s not as glamorous as we perceive it to be. Some coders are limited to doing boring jobs like developing APIs, websites, or customizing an ERP-like business system. A lot of coders spend their days recreating systems or tweaking existing ones with limited creativity or design skills. They are not able to use their creativity in the same way that they feel that are challenged in what they do.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the future is in coding. It’s a better idea to learn how to code instead of taking a low paid job in a field that you don’t enjoy. In the future, it will be better for people to know how to code. As computers are becoming more and more intelligent, there are many jobs which are being replaced by AI. But coding is not one of these jobs. We should all learn how to code because it is the future.

Instead of wasting time on the mundane tasks, you can help your team to focus on their core skills. Many tools are available that can help programmers with the bad and ugly parts of coding. These tools can simplify everyday tasks that developers have to do, freeing up space for them to do more challenging and enjoyable tasks.

Coding and programming is not just a hobby or a skill that will come in handy one day, but it’s necessary for the future of our society.
